TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Battery Life Although minimal, most of the troubleshooting questions we receive are related to battery-life or what to do when there is poor or no cell signal in the area. Although the battery life should last for several weeks under normal use after being fully charged, it is good practice to charge the device when possible. Charging the device is very simple. Please follow the instructions on how to charge your device in your product’s Quick Start Guide.
Cellular Connection Also, please test your cellular connection in different areas to ensure that you have good cellular service. However, if you just purchased FastHelp and think your product may have an issue you can a) contact technical support using the contact information found in your product’s Quick Start Guide; b) return it for a quick refund; c) return it and buy a replacement.
Testing your Unit 1. Press and hold Small Silver Button for up to 5 seconds to perform tests. 2. Device will provide visual and audible test results. Refer to LED Indicator Light and Audible Messages.

What is your return policy? If you are not satisfied in any way just use the return option on your account for a quick refund within the first 30 days of purchase. Just follow the corresponding instructions.
Repairs and Replacements For up to one year, we will repair or replace a malfunctioning unit upon receipt of the unit. This pertains to malfunctions which occur during normal use and operating conditions.
How does FastHelp work? FastHelp is designed to place a call directly to your local 911 services wherever a cellular connection is available. Once connected to 911, the device will act like a two-way speakerphone.
Can I cancel a call? Yes. Press and hold the Small Silver Button for up to 5 seconds.
Does it use GPS? FastHelp uses GPS-triangulation to approximate your location. Once you reach the 911 operator, it is important and we recommend to always tell the operator your exact location.
Does it need a cellphone? The FastHelp device is not a service and does not require any other device or service to perform its functions. It does not need a cellphone or landline and it does not connect through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to any other devices. FastHelp connects to any available cellular network on its own as long as there is a signal.
Does it need charge often? We recommend you perform a battery test or charge the device at least once per month.
How often do I need batteries? FastHelp uses a custom internal rechargeable battery. You do not need to replace the batteries.
How is it better than a phone? Every second counts and FastHelp saves you time during an emergency. It can be kept with you at all times and does not require you to dial a number, unlock your phone or otherwise fumble around trying to place a call.
